Removing a fence in Photoshop can seem like a daunting task, but with a few simple steps, it can be done with ease. In this tutorial, we will walk through the process of removing a fence from an image using the Brush Tool and Content-Aware Fill.

Step 1: Open your image in Photoshop
First, open the image that you want to remove the fence from in Photoshop.
Step 2: Create a new layer
Click on the “Create a new layer” icon in the Layers panel to create a new layer. This will allow us to make changes to the image without affecting the original.
Step 3: Select the Brush Tool
Select the Brush Tool from the toolbar on the left side of the screen.
Step 4: Paint over the fence
Using the Brush Tool, paint over the fence on the new layer with a black color. This will effectively “mask” the fence from view.
Step 5: Select the painted layer
Cmd|Ctrl + Click on the new layer that you just created with the black brush to select it.
Step 6: Use Content-Aware Fill
Go to Edit > Fill and select “Content-Aware” from the drop-down menu. This will automatically fill in the space where the fence used to be with content that is similar to the surrounding area.
Step 7: Adjust the Content-Aware Fill
If necessary, use the Clone Stamp Tool or the Healing Brush Tool to touch up any areas that were not filled in correctly by the Content-Aware Fill.
And that’s it! With just a few simple steps, you can remove a fence from an image in Photoshop using the Brush Tool and Content-Aware Fill.
